About

My home roots are planted in Aurora, IL, where I grew up on the ball field alongside my two older brothers, spent every waking summer hour swimming in our backyard pool, and had the entire lineup of the legendary Chicago Bulls team memorized before I could even add 2+2.

My family means everything to me, so my decision to attend The University of Wisconsin-Madison was a no-brainer. A notable Big 10 school with high academic achievement, Badger football Saturdays, and a stunning backdrop of the Isthmus… all while just a short, 2-hour car ride from Home.

I fell in love with Madison in so many more ways than I could have ever imagined. I worked with individuals with disabilities in college, which later led to a rewarding young career in child development. My degree in Rehabilitation Psychology sparked a lifelong fascination with the brain + behavior that motivated my ongoing education in the field today. My heart felt it was in the right place as my Home away from Home, only to grow even stronger once I started my own little family here.

I married my Bucky loving, golf fanatic, hard-working Real Estate agent husband, Josh, in 2013. And as they say, “When you know, you know.” So, in the blink of an eye, we were fortunate enough to welcome our four little loves. Ethan (9yr), Emma (7yr), Hannah (6yr), and Ava (4yr) collectively drive me crazy every single day, and I am eternally grateful for every single bit of it. And as if our life wasn’t busy enough, we recently added our four-legged love, Rex, because slobbery puppy kisses are exactly what we needed to complete our family.

I continue to fill my life with everyone and everything that I love. I prioritize a clean home and organization in all that I do because it is part of who I am (it runs naturally in my blood- thanks, Mom!). I enjoy sharing my story and experiences, relating to others, and inspiring who I can. My passion lies in deep, soul-searching health of both the mind and the body. I embrace 8 pm bedtimes and 4:30 am wake-ups, strength underneath a loaded barbell, and the runner’s high off a solid half marathon. I place a daily cup (ok, maybe pot…) of piping, dark roast black coffee on a pedestal right next to my love of being a Mom.

Everything that I do and all that I am, I make a purposeful effort to align every piece of my life into one so that I can co-exist with ALL my loves, as I give each the best version of myself.
